Keyword Tools - Competitors Tool - PI Rank
The PI Rank (or Popularity Index) is a rank assigned to each domain, based on the number of unique sessions it receives. A domain's PI rank score is a 3 month rolling average.
The data is gathered from user panel data, captured via ToolbarBrowser users that have the PI Rank feature enabled. This means this data is much less prone to skew caused by automated bots, etc.
The rank is in descending order; the lower the number, the more popular the website is.
For example, Google, the most popular, has a PI Rank of 1 (first place).
