Keyword Discovery Keyword Collection and Methodology


Keyword Discovery collects search term data from over 200 search engines world wide. As a result we have the largest keyword database that contains nearly 38 billion searches. KeywordDiscovery also offers many language specific keyword databases sourced from regional search engines and users from those regions, including: Australian, Canadian, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, UK and US with plans to offer many others.



How we Collect Keyword Data

The search engines listed below either provide their complete search logs and these are imported in full into our databases, or samples are collected directly at the browser level from our user panel and other sources.

Data is collected on daily basis, however due to the index size, the online database is updated monthly.

These are however kept separate from our own keyword databases and offered for completeness only. Which means that our database is unique and does not have the common pitfalls that the 3rd party tools have.



Premium and Regional Keyword Databases

If you are looking for clean and pure search results without skews caused by automated web agents (rank checkers), KeywordDiscovery offers a number of Global Premium Keyword Databases. The Global Premium database contains over 4.4 billion keyword searches, based purely on user panel data. The Global Premium database is also used to create the many regional and language specific keyword databases.

All regional keyword databases include search terms from the searches performed at regional search engines, such as google.fr and also searches performed by users based in those regions, such as a person based in France doing a search on google.com
